The Contradiction of Red (1976)

Is red the color of the sarong you wear?
Be happy then for red is the color of the East
The deities look upon you as an omen fair
They are inviting you to the ceremonial feast

Do not hesitate and honorably accept the invitation
Those who await you are waiting in the garden
They wear multicolored sarongs that hinder speculation
So greet them kindly expecting an understandable pardon

Even though you fail to contemplate their view
Accept it as if it were your own
The color red the generations ensue
And those who wear it are never known

Return now to your rice fields and cultivate them well
Prosperous and virtuous men watch the eastern sky
Red in your sarong, red in the sky and red in Hell
A combination guarantees that faithful skies will cry
